Just thought I'd share my further experiences with this compiler under Linux... I have not been able to see any appreciable performance advantage on my AMD Athlon system. I compared the Intel C compiler using Eu2C generated C code for Allsorts, Sieve.ex, and the Mike Nelson's Diamond Speedtst.ex. In a few cases the Intel compiled programs showed a trivial increase in speed, in others they were slightly slower. Perhaps someone with a Pentium system can take advantage of the Pentium specific option switches and realise significant performance increases. I just don't see it on my system. Regards, Ken Rhodes
