Since you are referring to 2 Windows programs, I assume you want to print
from a Windows environment.  Win32Lib has printing functionality built-in:
I've been using it for years.  You simply "draw" to the printer page the
same way you would draw to a canvas.

For an example of this in practice, download this project:

and look at edi-map.ew, especially the procedure onMenu_FilePrintbyX12().
