Hi, there is a problem with Exotica Version 1.5 when initializing the buffers to draw on into video memory with certain video cards. Unfortunitly, I don't know which video cards exactly this happens on. I have an AGP Creative Banshee Voodoo2 card with 16megs of video memory which the examples work for me. This may or may not be the problem for you. When the screen goes black and nothing else happens, try hitting the 'enter' key first. If it's a Euphoria related error, you may not see an Euphoria made error message because DirectX is still running in the background which the DirectX buffers is hiding the error message. I am working on a Version 1.6 of Exotica DX Game Library to hopefully fix the video problem and other little things. I don't know when I'll have version v1.6 done.
