I did a terrible job explaining what I want... let me try again... I'm basically looking to create a window where animated graphics will be. Let's say I was creating a program that plotted in a section of the window a "+" sign that follows mouse movement. Obviously I wouldn't use a BMP control, unless it's okay to write to the bitmap and display it again... what would be best for this situation? :) Thanks guys 'n' gals! -ck
