Win32lib and MDI - for the future

I remember there had been some talk about adding MDI (Multiple Document Interface - the sort of thing you find in tabbed text editors and browsers) to win32lib. T. Skoda said he had done it, but his modified (old) win32lib isn't in the archive, the address it is supposed to be available from ( www10.ewebcity.com/tskoda/euphoria.asp ) no longer exusts, and the WinMania link in archives is broken. Is there any place I can get that code from for inspection at least? Also, I found this searching EuForum: <quote> Date: 2004 Aug 27 0:19 From: Derek Parnell <ddparnell at bigpond.com> Subject: Re: List Change Event cklester wrote: > > Derek Parnell wrote: > > > > Anyhow, the change I've added to win32lib now might break some > > existing code. > > Are you going to make that available as a patch? Its a bit awkward as small bits of code had to be added and modified in lots of places. The next release will be out in 24-36 hours. I'm adding some support for MDI apps and that's not quite finished. -- Derek Parnell Melbourne, Australia </quote> Does this still relate to any actual code somewhere? There was an MDI.exw in the demo folder, but I don't think it has ever run using released code. At any rate, I'm working on newPrinter() and generally validating any printer choice from user, so as to avoid issues when no printer is currently available. For those who inspect the code, there has been a checkPrinter() procedure around for a while, which (start|end)(Doc|Page) invoke, but it may not be enough. MDI would be for 70.4 or beyond. Any feedback? CChris
