It looks like if you have no program associated with ZIP files then XP treats them as compressed folders. If you go open_with and select WinZip then double-clicking a ZIP file opens WinZip. But I would not want to bet more than one euro on that being right - I have so often found that XP doesn't do what you expect it to do. If you right click a ZIP, select Open With, then Choose Program, then I get "Compressed (Zipped) Folders" at the top of the list. That opens the folder like normal but in the File menu you get Extract All - and that is where the problems start happening. I click Next and XP asks for the password for Advanc.exw. So if someone has NOT got WinZip etc, and relies on the XP Compressed Folders system, he can't extract the files from Win32Lib. I hope that helps, CChris. AndyD
