Both of you have some good points, however, I have to agree with Chris here.


What Matt (different Matt, BTW) said was that he wasn't able to easily debug
using the PD version, and asked for a registered user to help.  Even though
you can't get detailed error reports from the PD version, there are a lot of
things that can be done to debug (ie, write your own log file or print to
the screen).

If he'd at least mentioned that he'd done all this, and did more of the
initial foot work, I'd respect his request a lot more.  Not that I don't
understand the frustration.  That's what finally got me to register. :)

But sending a project with multiple files, and not giving any clue about
what's going wrong (not to mention how it's _supposed_ to work) probably
won't sit well with most registered users, "The bad thing is, Idon't have
the registered version of Euphoria. Could anyone debug this for me?"

Now, if he asked some people who'd already agreed to collaborate on the
project, that would be another matter...
