All this motivation would have to be subconscious,
obviously. But you must wonder, what if the program
ever found out about its "states, timers and a series
of conditions that must be satisfied." Couldn't it,
then, go in and modify those? Look at what humans are
trying to do... trying to modify our "life span"
conditions, etc.

In the digital arena, it would be much easier to break
into immorality.
