Hey all,
Remember me, I'm the guy who was trying to organize an a.i project last =
winter. Just letting you know that I began, months ago, on the project =
alone. I realised that my ideas were probably too bizarre to try to drag =
others into
so untill my research develops into anything substantial, =
I'll probably keep them to myself. But I have made quite a bit of =
progress, and I should have some kind of results to show by next winter. =
Hopefully I will have been able to generate more interest by then, if =
not I will drop back into blissful isolation. I never believed that =
"real ai" was possible, but ai simulation is certainly possible....Much =
of my problem has been (and still is) a lack of programming experience, =
so I have tried to rectify the situation by enrolling in college and =
studying C++. This, however, hasn't helped me much because I pretty much =
spent the whole semester learning to do the same things in c that I =
learned to do in a month of self-education with euphoria...go figure. =
Basically, learning euphoria made me want to program, learning c++ made =
me want to avoid it. You dont know how tempted I was to ask this board =
with help on my homework assignments...Anyway, I didn't want to =
interrupt any ongoing discussion, just wanted to say hello. Now that I =
have the summer off you can expect a whole new barrage of questions from =
me.
