Only a few masochists among us crave the Windows pain. That describes it exactly - to paraphrase the old joke: Why do we program in Windows? (For good reason, I think.) Even the major PC magazines are beginning to bash Win98 on their editorial pages. An interesting development. > I had a go. Actually, I had assumed Euphoria would "hit the wall" far sooner than it did, and I would be able to say "it worked up to a point". Choking, no, not really. No one seems anxious to uas a DOS interface, which is a good thing, since I cannot take any time out from paying jobs to work on it. Evey day spend on Euphoria is $500 less for my creditors to enjoy. > Have I been unfair to anybody? jiri Not at all. Thanks. Irv
