Just a thought, but this is gonna be a FAQ, not a whole website. I don't see the need for frames unless the FAQ gets huge; then use an index frame. Animated GIFs are just a waste of bandwidth IMO, at least for a FAQ. Now some GIF/Jpegs, like maybe a logo at top/bottom would be nice... Really, the whole purpose of this FAQ is to give information, not dazzle people with techno-wizardry (not!) and eye~candy. And everybody knows that frames & aniGIFs take longer to load than 1-2 small GIFs & text. >Of course, Netscape is available for Linux. I also have 12Mb swap space. That speeds it up a little, but not much. If I had a 486/8Mb I would stick with Lynx :) >Last year I used some dumb terminals to surf the web (I'm talking >Unix here). But what I do mostly involves searching for information, so I don't like glitz ;) ----->Buddy budmeister1 at juno.com _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
