Okay, I'll say it before someone else does. I just expected it to be a little easier to implement UI designs. But I don't have enough experience with windoze programming (even taking into account my VB experience) to really know what I'm talking about. Sorry. Strategy of choice is to investigate designs using little windows with no application functionality attached, thatn when I get the UI part working well, add my buttons and edit boxes and all that. I still think my concern about the slowness of the wipe and redraw of the tab control is valid, but of course that may be due to the way windoze handles things, vs. win32lib's code. Or it may be a result of interpreted Euphoria vs. compiled C/C++. And the scrunch/spread controls utility is not a bad idea.... George
