posted by: (not specified) Kat, I only suggest it as an option - it's something that can be implemented server side very easily - no js/java/vb/etc needed in the browser. I personally don't use js in pages unless I really, really need to. It's the sort of thing that can be provided for those who want it - as a cookie set option. If the cookie says they want to use a tree then it shows a tree, else no cookie/no tree!! Easy, then you don't need to accept cookies either - extremely safe!!! As an example of what I mean you could glance at my Blog/Forum thingy I wrote - No cookies/Very limited JS (but not necessary - so saef for browsers with JS turned off!)/Threads based. There's even an Euphoria section there (but no-one visits :( ) www.purpletiger.com/dave/blog.php Keep safe and warm, Dave >On 5 Apr 2004, at 13:15, Guest wrote: >> posted by: dave at purpletiger.com >> >> I like the extreme simplicity of this EUforum, but would love to see a >> threaded >> list view option - ie group together posts that are under the same (or RE:) >> heading, for later expansion. >I prefer email. >> A 'tree-view' style display (NOT DHTML) should not be too difficult to >> implement.
