Euphoria's Future - summary results

Hi Everyone, About a week ago I posted an email about a couple of thoughts I had about helping Euphoria to grow and improve. Basically my ideas came down to this: 1. Organize a priority list by the use of a survey to determine what Euphoria Tools/Libraries/Enhancements users would find beneficial. The results could help Rob and others determine what the Euphoria community finds important. 2. Give incentive to Rob and other authors (by way of financial rewards) to produce/implement the above tools/libraries/enhancements. One way to achieve this was by RDS sponsorship/partnership of some of these projects. "My" summary of the responses: 1. Only one or two people mentioned that they would be interested in participating in a survey. This to me could indicate: a. I didn't communicate my idea very well. b. The vast majority of users are happy with the current Euphoria capabilities. 2. Everyone agreed it would be nice to reward authors of "good" quality software by way of financial payment but didn't believe RDS needed to be involved. If anyone believes I perceived the responses differently to what I have summarized please let me know .... private email is probably better (smithr at ix.net.au) ... so as not to fill the list. Thanks Ray Smith
