Make sure you export the shell variables. For example, in .bash_profile,
you might have:

export EUDIR=/usr/local/euphoria
export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/euphoria/bin

Note that there is a unix command called ed, so you might want to change
it to:
export PATH=/usr/local/euphoria/bin:$PATH
so it finds Euphoria's ed program first.
