Hiya Maichael. I myself have only recently started programming for Windows, having found that the more usual routes (C++ etc) were pretty awful ways to an end. I use Euphoria with the Win32Lib by David Cuny and the IDE by Judith Evans. the combination has got me into some quite useful programming in a very short time. Mind you, now I AM having some troubles with the Windows API, but a useful program suite from Microsoft ControlSpy.Exe has helped me a lot with messages and notifications and things. So I'd recommend getting the latest IDE from Judith Evans' site (http://user.txcyber.com/~camping/judith.html) and the Win32Lib from David Cuny's site (www.lanset.com/dcuny/win32.htm ). but get them in that order as you need the not-latest Win32Lib. And the control spy is at http://www.microsoft.com/msj/1298/code/controlspy.exe but it is 2.6Meg or so long! Great system, I think, I'll never go back to old-style programming, for Windows anyway!
