I have completed once such package (in Euphoria/Win32Lib), which is ready to go out the door, as soon as I can write an installer prog. What libs/enhancements woulkd I like to see? 1. Interactive environment (similar to that which exists is Foxpro, dBase, etc. ) in which I could type in a Euphoria statement and have it translated and executed immiediately 2. A debug/trace facility which would have a separate window to display variables as a program is running (and keep them all visible at all times) (again, a nice Foxpro feature) 3. A really good documentation facility for Win32Lib. Having come to Windows from a mainframe environment with asccess to DOS-ONLY Foxpro/dBase/Clipper, I found Windows programming to be a deep, dark mysterious enigma. Still, I managed to write a fairly professional looking project for the Windows environment using Win32Lib.e (thanks, David) and educational tools (Wolfgang Fritz's W32LibTutor), (Travis Beaty's very slick Encyclopedia Euphoria). These tools are great, but there's so much to Win32Lib that they can't begin to cover it all. But, that's really a serious need (for me, at least). 4. A full 'industrial strength' Database system, which EDS (nice as it is) is not (at least, not yet). The above would make me truly Euphoric. I would happily pay a reasonable price for them. Regards, Jim (I had intended to continue with my 'desired features' list, but my kids are complaining (ever more loudly) that they're hungry, and when am I going to start fixing dinner?)
