The Installer and Dates Concerning ...

Hello All!

Martin Stanchon requested information on the installer, and asked why my
website was not working, at it was at this point that I realized that in the
midsts of my physical move, I plumb forgot to do a bunch of stuff.

My apologies.

Okay, the website has moved, sorta. I am still on Pro Hosting; however,
during the move I switched computers, at which point I accidentally lost the
password to my website. After requesting information at ProHosting without
result, I eventually had to cancel my account then recreate it. When I did
this, the address of my website changed, which is exactly what I was
attempting to prevent. So ... the new website addy is:

cloud.prohosting.com/tbeaty/pds

Now that I've settled in and gotten some employment set up, I am back to
coding. After several rounds with the installer however, I've come to realize
that the base design of the thing (for lack of a better term) sucks. I had
talked before about making an RPM like program for Euphoria, which should be
fairly simple. So I've gone ahead and started that process, after which I will
rebuild the installer to incorporate my "epm" file format. This should not take
very long, as I am already about half done with it anyway.

I don't have a firm date on when the next version of the installer will be out,
but a new version should be ready for testing by the middle of November.
This is okay by me due to the fact that I hadn't planned to release an
"official"
installer until Euphoria 2.3 is released. I know that this drastic overhaul of
the
compiler will take some time, but I believe that the benefits of using an epm
file justifies the wait. Hopefully y'all will agree with that assessment.

Again, sorry for the delay in this (and sorry Martin for leaving you hanging).
As far as the website is concerned, that will be updated within the next
couple of weeks -- where all my tasks are concerned, at the moment I feel
like an ant trying to knock down an elephant.

Thanks!
