Just did a search of the mailing list archives
(http://www.rapideuphoria.com/cgi-bin/msearch.cgi?fromMonth=6&fromYear=1&toMonth=9&toYear=6&postedBy=robert+craig&keywords=console+cgi)
and there is a message where Rob says that if you use the translator
to translate the code to C then edit emake.bat to compile as a console
app it should work.

If that's all you want the code to do I'm sure there is a more elegant
solution though...
