I don't know windoze programming, but i have found the little info boxes in
Taskinfo2000 to be useful in tracking down resource hogs. For instance, i
wrote some mirc code that would gradually do as you describe, consume all
the resources, and Taskinfo was what told me what app was using what
resources. Untill i recoded it, i simply shut down the app once a day and
restarted it, and this helped to a degree, altho this would be unacceptable in
the IDE. Look at http://www.iarsn.com/download.html#TaskInfo to get info
and download it. I wish we could get this info with an Eu app, to provide
preemptive warnings about resource useage and such.
