I've got a lib you can try, it's good if the bg is a constant, otherwise don't even bother ^^. I *TRIED* to make it easy, wonder if I succeded (yeah suuuure) :) Otherwise I'd go for mode_x graphics library or Niels graphics library, however, you might experience variable declarations problems with those(not too likely)
