compiling ex with watcom

Has any one been able to get past the errors when compiling
ex with the free downloaded version of watcom. I compiled
the djgpp version ( which doesn't use the def files ) without
errors but the only problem with it is the slow speed.
If someone that is smarter than me should be able to
correct the speed problem by setting up the files to use the
same set up as GNU "C" which is the same compiler as DJGPP.
Rob doesn't think there is enough interest in supporting
it on DJGPP to correct the speed issue.
