Yuku, I think you were way too quick to commit this. Please, in future, discuss
and get agreement/commitment BEFORE you commit stuff, especially things that are
debatable.

I STRONGLY OPPOSE THIS CHANGE.

Making these delimiters optional will cause coding and maintenance errors. And
the benefit ??? ... I just can see why this is a 'good thing'.
