With each new version of Windows, Microsoft hides the PATH variable even deeper. On Windows 95/98/ME it's in C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT, but in Windows ME they've made AUTOEXEC.BAT a "hidden file". It's there, you can edit it, but you won't see it in a directory listing. Use ed, notepad or any text editor to change the PATH=... line. or add PATH=... if it's not there. On XP, click: - Start - Control Panel - Performance and Maintenance - System - Advanced - Environment Variables - Then select Path and Edit in the box for either yourself or the system as a whole. Then reboot to make sure it takes effect. Regards, Rob Craig Rapid Deployment Software http://www.RapidEuphoria.com
