Thanks & how I fixed my SVGA problem. ^_^
Hi again, it's that guy that had problems with his SVGA. Thanks for all
your help ... with it, I was pointed in the right direction ...
As it turns out the problem was my ATI card, as I suspected. (When we
bought this computer, we were assured that the ATI card was the 'best'
... ack.) I did a bit of checking, and it seems that UniVBE works with
basically every video card EXCEPT cards based on the Mach64 chip ...
guess what chip my video card uses? :)
So I went to the ATI site and downloaded their VESA driver for my card,
and now SVGA works perfectly when I use the 'use_vesa' command! Success!
Anyways. Just posting in case someone else has been having these same
sorts of problems. Bye!

PS. Someone was asking for my 'impressions' of the Euphoria language in
general ... well, I may have overstated my experience with programming a
tad ... basically, I learned Basic quite a few years ago, was forced to
learn Turing (don't ask), learned ZZT and Megazeux (game creation
systems with built-in programming langs ) and did a bit of C before
discovering Euphoria. So ... my opinion probably isn't worth much yet.
Sorry for the long, rambling message, I have a tendancy to do that. ;)
