Yes, I've used sendmail or equivalent in several programs now.
Sending a message is easy. Sending several thousand messages/day
makes ISP's very nervous, especially in these days of
SPAM black-lists. Even if just RapidEuphoria.com got black-listed
it would be bad news.

Initially I'll work on it, then I'll turn it over to Junko.
Maybe we can have modules that others can help us with.
We'll try to do something really quick and simple to
start with, then we'll add improvements as we go along.

I'm using a provider. I can do what I need to do,
but the volume of mail (and handling all the bounces etc.)
would be a problem. My provider isn't very reliable
for e-mail anyway.
