I've tried it on Windows XP Sp1 and Windows 98 SE.

I didn't use the "HOME" environment variable on XP as it just returns 
%USERPROFILE% so I just hard coded it to my GTK2 directory.

It's not the final solution ... but OK for now.

(I still have the other GTK problems with fonts etc from one of my 
previous emails)
