Wrapping the Berkeley DB is what has generated all these questions about 
callbacks, etc.  I've got all the basic functionality working already.  
It has tons of features, including support for transactions, logging, 
etc, etc.  I have not gotten to all the sophisitcated stuff yet, but 
I'll be releasing a wrapper that has all the functionality of EDS later 
this week (probably) and then I'll build on that.

It is super fast...
