One for the suggestions box:

In a future release of Eu I would very much like
to see a simple tracer for keeping track of the
last line executed. Perhaps it could be poked into
a relitiavely safe memory address and then recovered
by the user immediately after a causeway error. At
present there is no way to determine where a system
error has been generated short of tracing the program
and waiting for it to crash.
