[EDS] a DLL to acces EDB files?

Is there any way that someone could compile a dll with the functions to
access EDB files? I'm gonna try this but I don't know too much about C
so don't expect good results. I really need this for a project that
involves Euphoria and Delphi and I think it would help to make EDS more
popular.
