Hi Thomas,
I don't know why its crashing, but I can explain the "does nothing" part.
Check the spelling of the routine names in your routine_id() calls.
In one case you have routine_id("opentaxscroll") but I suspect this should
be "onopenscrollwin",
and in another case you have routine_id("ecowindow") but this should be
"ecowin".
