Use your Redhat boot disk, and at the lilo: prompt, type rescue. If I remember correctly, you shouldn't need a login. You will be able to run linux fdisk from the ramdisk system that is created through rescue. HTH, Mike Sabal >>> gertie at PELL.NET 11/28/00 11:46AM >>> Hi linux users.. I have a harddrive with Redhat 6.x on it, and i can't get rid of it. Fdisk says: 1) it's got a ext dos partition on it. 2) can't delete non-dos partitions 3) the partition is empty 4) can't delete it while there are logical drives on it I can't use linux to delete it, cause linux wants me to log in, and there are no users to log in as.
