Bitmap Tools (Colin Taylor)

Colin or Anybody-in-the-Know,

The directions for bitmap.e say I can convert Windows bmps to Euphoria bmps
with read_bitmap(), but I can't find that routine in bitmap.e. So, how to I
convert a WinBMP to EUBMP?

Also, with anybody who uses bitmaps a lot in their programs, what's the best
bitmap manipulation tool these days. I'm using Colin Taylors right now, but
am just wanting to get some opinions.
