She could have a look at the Zinc designer, at: http://www.windriver.com/zinc/html/d-win.html Under 'Custom Download Windows', choose 'Windows Platform Executables'. It's only a 1.46 meg download. It's not exactly the same as VB, but most of the concepts are there. I used to have the DOS version of the Designer... very slick! It helped inspire me to write Dos32Lib. -- David Cuny
