Which is the problem, anymore, isn't it? I mean, I offended and hurt
you with my comment of how excited Euphoria made me, and this makes you
a victim, and now it's time to call the cops and say "I don't like what
she said!" They will then go to the DA, and learn that this is a
federal crime, so the FBI will come to my door, bang it in and drag me
away for saying something you disagreed with.

You know, there was a time in this country when you heard something you
didn't like, you ignored it, and if you saw something you didn't like,
you ignored that, too. There are a few places that are still that way,
but for the most part, everyone is so busy being offended and hurt and
victimized and punishing those who hurt and victimized them that really
we are no longer free to express ourselves an any meaningful way. I
can't walk down the street without offending someone, because I'm a
really big, really ugly girl. So I tend not to go to out at all. If it
weren't for computers, I'd have no social life whatsoever because of all
the victims out there waiting to be offended by laying eyes on me so
they can call the cops and have me arrested for offending them with my
pretensious and offensive behavior. And that's just when I have to go
buy groceries.

I'm sick of hearing about people being offended by what they don't want
to see. If you don't want to see it, look away. If it's on television,
invading your home, change the channel, and it no longer will be. If
it's on the radio, grating upon your delicate eardrums, and it's your
radio, then by gods, change the station! If it's someone else's radio,
walk away. I mean, it's not that hard, people, to decide that it's not
worth the stress and hassle and suffering brought about by being the
victim. If you don't like it, just let it go.

Gods! If you're offended by a mild comment like that, you would never
like Poems Lite. Everything from outrageously humorous to outrageous to
evisceral is what that list sees coming across it. The idea is, if you
like poetry, you'll like Poems Lite. If you don't like what comes
across it, you can always leave.

We really need to learn to see people as people, and not as all kind of
horrid monsters just seeking to rob, rape and murderous with less and
less offensive behavior.
