I only just learned of Euphoria.  Can't really remember how, though ...  
I think it came up in a search engine while looking for free programming 
languages that would work with Windows.  I figured I had nothing to lose 
- it couldn't be worse than trying to fiddle with C - and downloaded it 
to give it a go.  A couple weeks of cursing {look through the archives 
and imagine all the editing I did to make them sound as pleasant as they 
do} later, I think I have the hang of it, and I can already tell with my 
habit of writing programs that play with data like crazy, Euphoria's 
going to make me cream!
