This might interest any low-level Euphoria coders out there... Euphoria uses the CauseWay DOS extender to allow 32-bit programming. The fact that CauseWay is now public domain should have no effect on most if not all Euphoria programmers. I'm just posting this for those who are interested. The following message was posted by Michael Devore to comp.lang.asm.x86 and alt.lang.asm yesterday: Pete -- This information may be of interest to Assembly Language, Watcom C/C++, and Watcom Fortran developers and programmers. Clipper 5.x and Clarion 2.1 programmers may also be interested. As of January 9, 2000, Michael Devore surrendered all his copyrights for CauseWay for Watcom C/C++ & Assembly Language, a previously commercial DOS extender, and released it to the public domain. CauseWay is one of the most popular DOS extenders in use today. Several thousand applications using CauseWay are or have been used in hundreds of thousands or millions of personal computers. This release includes both binary and assembly language source files, with a few C source files for support utilities. The URL for accessing CauseWay file information and downloads is: There is no support or warranty whatsoever for the released files. Under no conditions will Michael Devore be held liable for damages arising out of use of, or inability to use, the CauseWay files. This is a true public domain release. You as an individual or as a business entity may use the binary and source files in whatever manner you desire, INCLUDING for commercial purposes, without explicit credit or compensation to Michael Devore or Devore Software & Consulting.
