Thank you VERY much Brian.
That is EXACTLY what I was looking for...

Right now I have a program that reads and
writes to the parallel port.  I would
like to be able to split the program up
and control it remotely over the internet.
This info will get me started but I'm
sure I will have many more questions for you.
