Re: Habeas

Correct. Topica is likely adding these headers to anounce to spam
filters that the email message is not spam, and the addressee has
in fact requested to be on a mailing list. Several other mailing list
organizations have signed up with Habeas to help prevent their
messages from being blocked as possible spam.

Of course, this only works if the spam blockers recognize the
Habeas header as watermark legitimizing the email.

Unless it is causing difficulty with your email program, simply ignore
the header.

PS. Any "X-" style header has been added to an email by either the
email program, email server/gateway, or the user themselves. They
are not part of the standard - other than as a way to create a custom
header.
