What MUD program did you get? From the SAY command and the required euphorian client, it sounded a bit like Pete E.'s MUD demo for RDC.e What platform is it for? (If its the RDC.e one, it works on Linux, and FreeBSD with minor mods, else its probably a Windows MUD Server.) If you want to allow for raw telnet, just use eutcp4u.
