If anyone reading the mailing list for any length of time doesn't understand the situation about "Euphoria" you never will. This type of thing has been popping up for at least the last 5 years that I know about! Here is my summary: * Euphoria is a great little language and is well suited to a number of "types" of applications. * Euphoria will NOT change at a fast pace. * Unless RDS open source the *full* sources with a liberal license everyone had better like how RDS do things. (Which is generally not bad ... but often not "the best" and never fast!). If you "need" Euphoria to do something it currently doesn't do and it isn't 1 of the 2 or 3 things that RDS will say is comming in the next release then Euphoria isn't for you! Euphoria is a "take it and live with the lumps" or leave it langauge ... it ain't changin! (Every language has similiar issues ... your best bet is to choose a language where the designers have similiar ideals to your own). P.S. It's good to see Chris back ... and still fighting for improvement! Regards, Ray Smith
