Seconding you on every count, and voting for a LGPL license too.

This is indeed a great move. We as a small community will have to learn to
absorb it and put up some sort of road map. Also perhaps discern tasks and
groups of tasks, and assign a few people as responsible for performing,
coordinating and evaluating them. All in keeping with the open source spirit
and ethics.

Perhaps I'll become a bit more involved than I now am ;)
