Rob,

Let me give you an idea from a few minutes of research. If PHP is 
operational on your Web site, consider PhpWiki as the server software. 
That is, consider it first as the base to which to consider other Wiki 
packages.

Two main reasons:

1. PhpWiki is a PHP clone of the original WikiWikiWeb which was written 
in PERL.

2. The main developer was involved in setting up several Wiki sites for 
the New York Times, which seems to me to be good experience.
