memory management in win32lib

Hi,
is anyone using the memory mananement routines in win32lib? Thats =
allocate_string(), free_strings() etc... I've created two new routines =
to replace them 'cos I need to make them re-enterant but I don't know if =
I should remove the old ones or not?
