Hi Dan I vote a big NO WAY to splitting up the list. Although the list gets a bit of traffic, I don't think there is enough to justify splitting things up. My experience of split lists / forums is that many people constantly post to the wrong list and you end up with list posting policemen......who often get accused of offtopic posts too! I personally find much of interest in many of the posts that revolve around other platforms. I can understand that Jiri probably feels less than overwhelmed with the current discussions revolving around Windows. It is a fact of life though that Windows *is* a big deal. I think the Windows projects being discussed are a good thing. That doesn't mean I love M$ Windows. I don't! I do like though that there is a group of people working to make life using it a little easier. The problem for Jiri I suspect is that many of us just don't cut the mustard coding wise. I wouldn't like to see Jiri and others maroon themselves on DOS island. I may not have the knowledge to get involved in the algorithmic cut and thrust but I do enjoy reading it!
