DOS window does *not* go to full screen

Hi all, I think many of you know this annoying behavior of ex.exe: When running it the first time after creating a new small DOS window, it always makes the window go to full screen. This problem is described in "trouble.htm", and has also been discussed here. On my PC at home (Win 98 1st ed.), this happens too, and I got more or less used to it. So I was very surprised, when I run one of my Euphoria DOS programs on a PC (Win 98 2nd ed.) at my office, and this problem did *not* occur!! Unfortunately I don't know much about the technical details of PCs. Just to get started, I compared some files from the "windows\system" folders: - conagent.exe - conlock.mod - redirect.mod - winoa386.mod This 4 files are identical on both PCs. What could be the reason for the different behavior? Do all of you have this problem on Win 98 1st ed., and don't have this problem on Win 98 2nd ed.? Or maybe it's a hardware issue? My hope is, that I can solve the problem on my PC at home, just by updating some files. Regards, Juergen
