[OT] Hurricane Katrina
Hi, All.
Well, I've been on vacation for a week but I returned early today. It looks like
I will be deployed with my National Guard unit from Oregon to Louisiana to help
with the situation down there.
I didn't pay much attention to the news until Tuesday or Wednesday about the
devastation down there. Now hopefully I will be going by Sunday to assist with
whatever needs to be done.
Hopefully no Euphorians have had their property damaged by the storm. I worry
about Kat because I know she lives in the South but I forget exactly where.
I bought some insect repellant to protect myself. I am just awed by the
destruction that I have seen on the TV and I hope that my small contribution can
make a difference. I plan on working on my Shootout project and the ESL project
some more when I return.
