Interesting program. I'll definetly take a look at it. Thanks. > Support for these X > files, which I gather is a 3d object that Direct 3d supports natively would > be maybe a cool/good thing. The x format is the Direct3d native format in which I will be learning how to use first since the DirectX SDK examples and DirectX books that I have uses them. > I guess that X files can be made by converting other 3d file types to it. Yes, the DirectX SDK has a app that can convert 3ds format to x format. But hopefully, when I understand these different 3d formats besides Direct3d's X format, I'll be able to figure out what's needed to use them, either for Exotica to use or make my own apps(to share with the public) to convert them to x files at least. > Hows the backwards compatibility going? Heh, It's totally impossible for me to keep backward compatibility with Exotica. Adding new parameters to certain functions and needing to rename certain functions to names that sounds better for their new coded task prevents me from this. You were talking about backward capability in Exotica, right? - Todd Riggins
