I'm thinking that there will be a collection of CGI programs for a web
based interface, as well as GUI programs. Both of these clients would be
able to access the same server application, which could run as a CGI
script or probably better as a real server (with it's own port and
everything). This would provide:

1. A good test of two different types of clients working together
2. Maximum deployment opportunity.

Also, I believe as a matter of principal that too many people int he
business software world are forgetting the benefit of custom, client
side applications. Web based applications are good, but there are times
when a client side application is simply more convenient (such as
roaming users on laptops, PDA software [though we won't touch
that....yet.....bwahahaha], automatic client-side data logging/backup,
etc.).

That's exactly my intention, especially with the database and GUI
related things. One goal for the client side applications would be to be
100% standards compliant. Most Euphoria Windows applications are
woefully short of ever being certified for *any* previous Windows
interface design specification. Oh, and to those of you who might find
it hard to believe, yes there are such things. I have one that's as old
as Visual Basic 3.
