two stupid newbie questions :-)

Dear All,

let me ask the following two features, which I miss a little bit in EUPHORIA,
are intentionally missing, or just not yet developed? It intentionally, then what
is the reason? I miss them a bit because they could give some momentum to the
code. Of course I feel that the basic philosophy of EUPHORIA is not being zippy
but writing safe, error-free, reader-frienly code and I like it, but these two
yummy things could be the eeeexceeeeptioooons smile))

The first feature I miss a little is that you may not type

sequence a="hello"
atom b=1

and the second one is that you may not type 

while not atom(line=gets(filehandle))
